ONGOING PROJECTS
Click Foundation
Our school has a partnership with CLICK foundation. The main purpose of this foundation is to help our students/learners to learn through technology. Learners complete different activities in Mathematics and English that are CAPS aligned using tablets and laptops that have been allocated by the CLICK Foundation. This partnership helps our learners to enjoy learning and to perform academically. As a school we are very grateful to Click Foundation to be partnering with us in fostering our educational mission.
PEP
As we have a partnership with PEP and Social Innovation Group. We have PEP Academy classes for grade 4 and 5 learners. It focuses on delivering intervention effective teaching and learning of English and Mathematics. Our partnership started back in 2018 and since then we have witnessed our learners enjoying learning, improving their results, reading and writing, and counting numbers with mathematics basics effectively. We are very grateful to our educators for their dedication to the PEP Academy program. We are also very thankful to our partners, PEP and Social Innovation Group for partnering with us on this educational journey.
UPCOMING PROJECTS
Project 1
We are excited to announce that on the 21st of March 2026 we will be celebrating Human Rights day as school. It is our culture at Moriting Primary School to celebrate all the important days and teach our learners about such days. History is part of our curriculum and it teaches us not to repeat the mistakes of the past.
Project 2
The 25th of May every year marks the birth of the African Union. On the 25th of May 2026 we will be celebratiting the Africa day as a school. Our learners will be given an opportunity to represents 54 states of African continet. This motivates our learners to know more about the African Continent different cultures, traditions and different languages.
ONGOING EVENTS
Project 1
As Moriting Primary School we have a drop all and read project. We encourage learners to develop reading skills. we group our learners to read different text in their home languages and in English. This project takes place for 15 minutes every morning before we start with teaching and learning on a daily basis. This project helps our learners to read with confidents and understanding.
Project 2
We are pleased to inform all the parents,community members and all the stake holders that our learners that the following sporting codes: soccer, netball, cricket, chess and cultural activities will be participating in all the district competitions for the year 2026. Your support will be highly appreciated. It takes a village to raise a child. All the fixtures will be communicated with all the parents.
UPCOMING EVENTS
Project 1
June 16 is the turning point of South African History. Moriting Primary School will be celebrating this day on 16th of June 2026. The aim is to impart the knowledge to our learners as this day is included in our curriculum.
Project 2
We are excited to announce that as a school every year on the 1st December together with our learners we celebtrate world AIDS day. As it is our culture we invite guest speakers who have more knowledge about HIV/AIDS to come and share the knowledge with our learners and staff member.
